European Youth Overview
Dear go friends,
I am writing as a new vice-president of EGF resposible for youth projects on EGF level.
To improve work with children and youth, we consider as one of the most important steps a creation of a young players database. That is what I am asking you to help me with. You will find more details and explanation in an attached file. If you are not able to read pdf files, please let me know and I will send you just a plain text.
Please, answer as soon as possible, by the end of November latest. We need required information also for a good preparation of EYGC next March, which is quite soon. You will help not only to me and EGF by that, but also to EYGC organizer - Romanian Go Federation, who has been performing a great effort to prepare EYGC on a high level after our sponsor had left.
Concerning EYGC, I have one more question on behalh of the EYGC organizer, for which I need an answer even earlier, by November 17 would be excellent.
All of you should know that an age limit for a Senior group at EYGC was changed from 'up to 18 years old' to 'up to 16 years old'. It means, that we will have as an imperative two groups at EYGC, 'under 12 years old' and 'under 16 years old'. Our question is:
Would you be willing to send and support also older children, if we arrange third group 'under 18 years old' playing just for a title, but not for a participation at WYGC?
I hope that answering the question will not be difficult for you and that you will be able to provide your answer (YES/NO) soon.
Many thanks for your co-operation and best regards
